Chief Instructor
Eran Vardi Sensei - 5th Dan, Shidoin (senior instructor) under the
direct auspices of the United States Aikido Federation (USAF) and International
Aikido Federation (IAF).
Vardi Sensei is a member of the teaching staff at the renowned headquarters of the USAF, New York Aikikai, where he also trains regularly under the direction of Yoshimitsu Yamada Shihan.Committed to his ongoing Aikido development, he also travels to train with other prominent leaders and teachers of the Aikido communtiy. His teaching style is greatly influenced by Donovan Waite Shihan.
Vardi Sensei is an ordained Zen priest, a dharma successor of Roshi Paul Genki Kahn, and an empowered Zen teacher. He is also a co-director of the Aikido-Zen training program and a member of the board of directors at Zen Garland Order.
In addition to heading the dojo, he enhances his primary Aikido career
with an active Neuromuscular
Massage Therapy practice. The synthesis
of these arts has provided him with a unique and insightful understanding
of movement and human anatomy.
Assistant Instructors
Each carefully selected ARV Assistant Instructor has cultivated years
of dedicated Aikido experience and trains regularly with Vardi Sensei
to ensure that all classes remain consistent, effective and of
the highest quality.
